Working with a coach is a game changer. If you know deep down that your current plan is not addressing your specific needs, or if you’re tired of second guessing every step, I will get you back on track.

Motivation, accountability, and support from a trusted guide will help you break through plateaus, get the skills and strength you’ve always wanted, come back from injuries or life obstacles, and love your training more than ever before.  More than a personal trainer who clocks out at the end of the session, and more than a nutritionist, I will design custom programs for the entire picture of what keeps you fit and healthy.

Imagine opening your workout app and seeing training designed just for you. Crazy work day on Thursdays? I will make it a rest day or give you an active recovery flow. Only have dumbbells and a pull-up bar at home I will give you movements that work for your exact situation.

Instead of just hoping you’re nailing technique, your coach can watch your training videos and give you feedback, and answering questions along the way. Maybe you love jiu jitsu, or want to run a marathon, or an old injury is throwing you for a loop. Your coach will design a program that meets your individual needs, and keep it challenging, fun, and safe. 

Do you wonder if you’re eating the right amount for your needs? Your coach will connect the dots between your training and nutrition, and make sure you’re sleeping well and recovering between sessions too.

WHAT I OFFER

  • 1 ON 1 TRAINING

    Performance U helps athletes of all levels look good and move well in all phases of life. Your coach will begin with a conversation, and get to know what you want to accomplish – and what’s held you back in the past. Get your first strict pull-up – or 30 Muscle Ups for time. Build muscle where you want it – while still having energy for work and kids at the end of the day.

    Custom workouts are created for you every week based on your priorities and what motivates you to train, as well as your initial movement assessment. So you’ll stay safe and still make progress – and as your needs change over time, your coach will adjust your plan.

  • CUSTOM NUTRITION

    Want to shed fat and build muscle? How about improve your digestion, ditch sugar cravings, and feel more confident in the kitchen? We don’t believe in a one size fits all approach to nutrition – but we do believe in helping you find out what works best for you. Whether you want to overhaul your eating or slowly make a few tweaks over time, your coach will align your nutrition plan to your training and overall goals, and make sure it feels sustainable and enjoyable. Talk to your coach about accountability in ways that work for you – whether that’s a food log or just a once in awhile check in on how things are going.

  • STRESS LESS

    Training intensity is a form of stress on your body, just like poor nourishment, lack of sleep, and anxiety about that presentation next Thursday. So instead of crushing you with workouts that leave you exhausted or injury-prone, your coach will take your stress profile into account when designing your program, and check in with you frequently to make sure you get the right dose of training. We’ll also work with you on small but mighty habits to release the pressure – from sun, hydration, and sleep to entering “rest and digest” states after training and before eating.

HOW IT WORKS

  • After getting matched with a coach, you’ll have a one on one Zoom call and fill out a detailed intake to get to know your background and goals.

  • Your coach will check your mobility and get a baseline on your strength, conditioning, and how you move – accounting for your level and any past injuries. You can upload videos and feedback right to the TrueCoach app for your coach to see. You may also log your eating, sleeping, and stress for a few days depending on your goals.

  • Every week you’ll see new workouts that will progress thoughtfully toward your goals. Your coach will check your videos and feedback throughout the week, and you’ll get a 30-minute call with your coach to check in once a month. Nutrition info goes right into the app as well.
